Recommended Action
Appoint Ginger Miranda as a North Port Resident Representative on the Community Economic Development Advisory Board.
Background Information
Currently there is a North Port Resident Representative who was appointed on September 24, 2019 for his second term. Ordinance No. 2014-11 (establishing the Board) calls for eleven (11) Members and designates the categories that the Board Members would represent but does not specify only one (1) member per category. Currently there are only seven (7) Board Members serving and the vacancies have been announced as required. Ms. Miranda has been a resident of North Port for 6 years and serves on no other Boards or Committees. The application for Ms. Miranda has been submitted for your review and consideration.
