Recommended Action
Approve the appointment of Alexander Titus as a Regular Member of the Citizen Tax Oversight Committee to serve a term from July 25, 2023, to July 25, 2026.
Background Information
Currently, there are three vacancies on the Citizen Tax Oversight Committee. The vacancies have been announced as required. The City Clerk has received one application from Alexander Titus and there have been no other applications submitted. Mr. Titus has been a resident of North Port for over six months and does not currently serve on any other Board or Committee. Florida Statutes 112.3143(6) regarding conflict disclosures is not applicable for this applicant. His application has been submitted for review and consideration.
