The Certified Park & Recreation Executive (CPRE) qualification is a prestigious, nationally recognized credential for experienced park and recreation professionals, requiring prior Certified Park & Recreation Professional (CPRP) certification, verified education and work experience, successful completion of the CPRE exam, and ongoing professional development to maintain certification. Earning the CPRE credential demonstrates leadership readiness, advanced managerial competence, and commitment to the profession. With this credential, Assistant Director Sturgess joins an elite group of approximately 400 CPREs who have committed to advancing the parks and recreation field.
