Recommended Action

 

Approve the Tenant Lease Agreement with Tidewell Hospice, Inc., for Suite B111 at the Family Service Center.

 

Background Information

 

Tidewell Hospice, Inc., a Florida Not for Profit Organization, has requested to lease suite B111 at the Family Service Center.

 

This Agreement will be one (1) year (“Initial Term”) that, unless otherwise terminated, will automatically renew from year-to-year thereafter, for more than four (4) consecutive terms.  Rent will be calculated in the amount of nine dollars and fifty cents ($9.50) per square foot, for a total monthly rental amount of ninety-eight dollars and seventeen cents ($98.17). 

 

Since 1980, Tidewell Hospice, Inc. has assisted patients living with advanced illnesses and their families by fulfilling physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs. Tidewell’s mission is to help people live well by providing care, comfort, and compassion. Tidewell Hospice, Inc. intends to utilize the suite at the Family Service Center to offer counseling services for patients.

 

The Tenant Lease Agreement with Tidewell Hospice, Inc., for suite B111 at the Family Service Center has been reviewed by the City Attorney and is legally correct as to form.
