TITLE: Discussion and Possible Action Regarding Changes to the City Fee Structure, Appendix A to the Code of the City of North Port, Florida, Including but Not Limited to Fire Rescue Fees, Parks and Recreation Fees, Facility Rental Fees, and Utility Fees.
Recommended Action
Provide direction regarding proposed changes to the City fee structure, Appendix A to the City Code, including, but not limited to Fire Rescue fees, Parks and Recreation fees, facility rental fees, and Utility fees.
Background Information
In connection with the City's budget development process for Fiscal Year 2022-2023, staff has reviewed the fees charged for City provided services. Proposed changes to various departmental fees are provided in the attached Summary of the Fiscal Year 2022-2023 Proposed Fee Changes.
Upon direction from the City Commission, revenue projections will be prepared, and proposed fees will be incorporated into the City-Wide Fee Ordinance. Said Ordinance will be brought before the Commission for first reading in July 2022 and adoption at second reading in September 2022.
