Recommended Action

 

Approval of PLF-20-159, Tortuga Subdivision Final Plat.

 

Background Information

 

In March of 2020, the Infrastructure Plans (INF-19-017) and Subdivision Plans (SCP-19-018) for the Tortuga Subdivision were approved by City staff.  The Tortuga Subdivision adds 111 single family lots and the associated roadway, stormwater, utility tracts, and easements.  The total site contains approximately ± 39.00 acres.

 

A Surety Bond for INF-19-017 in the amount of $4,269,341.12 has been received by the City of North Port.

 

The Final Plat has been reviewed and approved by the City’s Consulting Surveyor.

 

During their Regular Meeting on December 3, 2020, the Planning and Zoning Advisory Board reviewed PLF-20-159.  At the conclusion of the meeting, the Planning and Zoning Advisory Board recommended unanimous approval of PLF-20-159, Tortuga Final Plat to the City Commission.
