Recommended Action
Appoint Leon Hobbs as a Regular Member to the Public Utility Advisory Board, to Serve a Two-Year Term from May 26, 2020 to May 26, 2022.
Background Information
There are currently three (3) vacancies for a Regular Member and two (2) vacancies for Alternates on the Public Utility Advisory Board. The vacancies have been announced as required. The City Clerk has received one (1) application from Leon Hobbs for the Regular Member position. There is also one application for which is awaiting additional information from an applicant who did not respond in time to meet the deadline for this agenda. Mr. Hobbs has been a North Port Resident for 19 months and is not currently serving on any other boards or committees. His application has been provided for review and consideration.
