TITLE: Approval of Howard Bearse as a Regular Member Appointed by the Commission on the Firefighters' Pension Board of Trustees to Serve Another Two-Year Term From October 11, 2022, to October 11, 2024.
Recommended Action
Approve Howard Bearse as a Regular Member appointed by the Commission on the Firefighters' Pension Board of Trustees to serve a second two-year term from October 11, 2022, to October 11, 2024.
Background Information
Howard Bearse’s appointment on the Firefighters’ Pension Board of Trustees as the Regular Member appointed by the Commission, expires on October 13, 2022. His upcoming vacancy was announced as required and there have been no other applications submitted. Mr. Bearse is seeking approval to serve a second term as the Trustee appointed by the Commission. Mr. Bearse has been a North Port resident for over 12 months, and he does not serve on any other Board or Committee. His attendance on the Firefighters’ Pension Board has been excellent and there have been no voting conflict disclosures pertaining to Florida Statutes 112.3143(6), His application has been submitted for review and consideration.
