TITLE: Municipal Election Agreement for the March 9, 2021 City of North Port Special Election
Recommended Action
Approve the Municipal Election Agreement for the March 9, 2021 City of North Port Special Election.
Background Information
The City will hold a special election on March 9, 2021 to fill the vacant District 1 seat. The City is required to pay a $10,000 deposit to the Supervisor of Elections at the time the agreement is approved. Any funds not used will be returned to the City.
This agreement has been reviewed by the City Attorney’s Office and Human Resources (risk).

Financial Impact
The $10,000 deposit will be paid from the City Clerk’s Department current budget. A budget amendment will be forthcoming once final costs have been provided.
