Recommended Action

 

Approve the Amended Family Service Center Tenant Lease Agreement with Jewish Family and Children’s Services of the Suncoast, Inc., (JFCS) for a term of one-year, effective November 13, 2019, to provide 124 square feet of furnished office space (B111) in the Family Service Center at a cost of $9.50/sq. ft. for an annual lease of $1,178, or 12 monthly payments of $98.17.

 

Background Information

 

At the September 24, 2019 Commission Meeting, Commission directed staff to revise the Family Service Center leases on their expiration dates, to reflect the updated square footage amount. On September 24, 2019, the square footage amount was reduced to $9.50 from $14.00 per square foot.

 

The Jewish Family and Children’s Services of the Suncoast, Inc., provides homeless prevention services to families with children as well as counseling services.

 

This tenant lease agreement has been reviewed by the City Attorney’s office.
