TITLE: Temporary Staffing
Recommended Action
Approve utilizing temporary staffing agencies, including but not limited to, Ad-Vance Recruiting, LLC, for employment services for an estimated amount of $268,290 in fiscal year 2019.
Background Information
On September 8, 2014, December 14, 2015, October 25, 2016 and September 21, 2017, the City Commission approved an agreement to utilize Ad-Vance Recruiting, LLC for a variety of personnel services. To ensure the ability to obtain qualified candidates when necessary, there may be a need to utilize additional agencies. Funds are budgeted in fiscal year 2019 to provide temporary personnel services. The employment services help the City meet staffing needs without hiring full time employees for temporary projects or needs.
