TITLE: Discussion and Possible Action Regarding Commission Challenge Coins
Recommended Action
Discussion and possible direction for staff regarding the purchase of challenge coins for City Commissioners.
Background Information
At its December 5, 2019 City Commission Special Meeting, the Commission discussed proposed designs for Commission challenge coins. Two designs were selected for the coins and staff was directed to obtain pricing for Commission consideration.
Staff has obtained pricing from three different vendors for the selected coins in quantities of 250 and 500, assuming each Commissioner would receive 50 or 100 of each coin. A comparison table of the pricing and two versions of the coin design are included for consideration.
