Recommended Action
The City Commission approve PLF-23-158, Manasota Beach Road Extension, Plat No. 1.
Background Information
On July 17, 2023, the Planning & Zoning Division received a Final Plat (PLF) petition from John Luczynzki, on behalf of Manasota Beach Ranchlands LLLP for a ±5.6699-acre plat. The Subdivision Concept Plan (SCP-23-035) was reviewed and approved on June 16, 2023, by City Staff. The Final Plat includes an ±1,900 LF northwest extension from the current intersection of Preto Road.
Previously, there was a performance bond for this parcel totaling $342,633.18 for the infrastructure improvements under INF-23-034.
The plat has been reviewed and approved by the contracted City Surveyor.
At their regularly scheduled meeting on January 18, 2024, the Planning & Zoning Advisory Board voted unanimously 6-0 with 1 absent member, to recommend City Commission approve PLF-23-158, Manasota Beach Road Extension, Plat No. 1.
The staff report has been revised to correct minor errors.
