Approval of the July 25, 2023 Commission Regular Meeting Minutes with recommended changes.
Background Information
The draft minutes were submitted for Commission review on August 1, 2023. Commissioner McDowell provided suggested changes on August 2, 2023, regarding:
Public Comment:
Revise: 11 minute mark - “Commission requested City Manager obtain contact Mr. Johnson’s contact information. in regards to his request”
Affordable Housing (after 3rd motion):
Missing: At the 2H 51M mark, there was discussion after the motion was made and 2nd, but that discussion was not captured into the minutes. Commission discussion took place regarding percentage included in the motion, allowing staff flexibility, minimum allocation requirements, and providing staff tools to navigate the Live Local Act.
Warm Mineral Springs:
Missing from minutes relating to Commission discussion: phased approach (4H 14M) agreed;
The recommendations were determined accurate by the City Clerk and changes were made accordingly.
