Recommended Action
Approve Joseph Garren as a Regular Member on the Charter Review Advisory Board, to serve a two-year term from April 12, 2022, to April 12, 2024.
Background Information
Currently, there are two vacancies for Regular Members (one Regular Member may be a Youth Member aged 14-17) and two vacancies for Alternate Members on the Charter Review Advisory Board. The City Clerk has received one application from Joseph Garren for the Regular Member vacancy and there have been no other applications submitted. Mr. Garren has been a resident of North Port for over 12 months, does not serve on any other Board or Committee and there have been no prior voting conflict disclosures on file with the City by said applicant in accordance with FS 112.3143(6). His application has been provided for review and consideration.
