Doerrfeld, on behalf of Larry and Barbara Ann Moore request to vacate portions of the platted rear ten (10) foot utility and drainage easements located on lots 16, 17, 31 & 32 for the construction of a single-family home and septic system. The site contains ? 469 square feet and is located south of and adjacent to Lapidus Road and north of and adjacent to Hornbuckle Boulevard (Lots 16, 17, 31 & 32, Block 1235, Twenty-Seventh Addition to the Port Charlotte Subdivision), Section 08, Township 39 South, Range 21 East. Recommended Action

Approve Resolution No. 2016-R-28, Petition No. VAC-16-153 partial vacation of the platted rear (10) ten-foot utility and drainage easements.

Background Information

Mr. R.J. Doerrfeld, on behalf of the property owners Larry and Barbara Ann Moore is requesting a partial vacation of the platted rear ten (10) foot utility and drainage easements located on lots 16, 17, 31 & 32 for the construction of a single-family home and septic system. The site contains ? 469 square feet and is located south of and adjacent to Lapidus Road and north of and adjacent to Hornbuckle Boulevard.

Pursuant to Chapter 177.101 of Florida Statutes, an application has been made to the City of North Port by Mr. R.J. Doerrfeld, on behalf of the property owners Larry and Barbara Ann Moore to formally request a partial vacation of the platted rear ten (10) foot utility and drainage easements located on lots 16, 17, 31 & 32, Block 1235, Twenty-Seventh Addition to the Port Charlotte Subdivision, Section 08, Township 39 South and Range 21East.

A legal notice of intent to vacate was published by the applicant in a newspaper of general circulation, for (2) two weeks consecutively.
