Background Information

The dedication of infrastructure from the West Villages Improvement District (WVID), a local unit of special purpose government, to the City requires formal acceptance by the City Commission. To accommodate future growth and provide a secondary connection to the Water Reclamation Facility, WVID constructed a 20” wastewater force main which is located along Playmore Road around the backside of the Southwest Wastewater Reclamation Facility. Now that the force main and related facilities are complete WVID desires to transfer the ownership, assign warranty rights, and provide easements to the City for the continuous operation and maintenance of the new force main.
