Appointment of Mark Harms as a Trustee to the Municipal Police Officers' Pension Board of Trustees, to serve a term from April 14, 2020 to April 14, 2022.
Background Information
There was one (1) vacancy for a North Port Resident Trustee appointed by the Commission. The vacancy was announced as required. The City Clerk has received one (1) application from Mark Harms for the Trustee position and there have been no other applications submitted. Mr. Harms has been a resident of North port for eight (8) years and is seeking a second appointment to the Board. His attendance on the Police Pension Board of Trustees was excellent and none of his absences had a negative effect on the quorum requirements to hold the meeting. His application has been provided for review and consideration.
