TITLE: Agreement between Enterprise Fleet Management, Inc. and the City of North Port.
Recommended Action
Approve the Agreement between Enterprise Fleet Management, Inc. and the City of North Port and authorize the City Manager to sign all future Agreement renewals.
Background Information
On March 6, 2018, Commission approved a Master Walkaway Lease Agreement with Addendum and Amendment, Maintenance Agreement with Amendment, Service Agreement, Credit Application, Credit Application, ACH Authorization Agreement, and Risk Management Application between Enterprise FM Trust and the City of North Port for the Special Investigation Unit (SIU) of the North Port Police Department. The Fleet Management Service Agreement has expired, and a new Agreement is needed.
The term of this Agreement shall begin June 25, 2019 and continue through the 30th day of April 2020 and may be extended when in the best interest of the City of North Port.
The City of North Port will pay Enterprise Fleet Management, Inc. a monthly rate that is identified on the individual vehicle lease schedule. All payments are due on the first of each month and shall be made in accordance with Florida Prompt Payment Act, Section 218.74, Florida Statutes.
This has been reviewed by Legal and approved legally correct as to form.

Financial Impact
Commission approved the expenditure of $34,500 to lease undercover detective vehicles in the general fund account 001-2100-521-44-00 for the current fiscal year. Staff is requesting the same amount for FY 2019-2020.
