Recommended Action

Approve Modification Number Five to the Sub-Grant Agreement between the State of Florida Division of Emergency Management and the City of North Port extending the Period of Agreement to February 28, 2024.

Background Information

On March 20, 2019, the City of North Port entered into a Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) Contract No. H0131 with the State of Florida Division of Emergency Management for the City Hall Generator Project to supply City Hall with a sufficient back-up power supply in the event of a power outage. This Contract has four prior approved modifications for additional funding and extending the time to complete the project.

The State of Florida Division of Emergency Management has approved Modification Number Five to the Sub-Grant Agreement extending the Period of Agreement to February 28, 2024.

Modification Number Five to the Sub-Grant Agreement between the State of Florida Division of Emergency Management and the City of North Port extending the Period of Agreement to February 28, 2024, has been reviewed by the City Attorney and is legally correct as to form.
