TITLE:                                          Discussion Regarding Ordinance No. 2019-01 Pertaining to Building Permits for Sheds

 

 

Recommended Action

 

Discussion for clarification of City permitting requirements pertaining to sheds.

 

Background Information

 

On November 12, 2019, North Port City Commission approved Ordinance No. 2019-01 which replaced Resolution No. 2018-R-28, and modified Article II, Sec. 70-24 (2) of the City Code pertaining to the permitting requirements for sheds in North Port.  Vice-Mayor Luke has requested this item be brought to the Commission for discussion to clarify the requirements for prefabricated sheds 200 square feet or less in area.
