TITLE:                     Approval of ImageTrend Agreement Amendment - Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) Vendor Switch to RapidDeploy

Recommended Action

Approval of ImageTrend Agreement Amendment - Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) Vendor Switch to RapidDeploy.

Background Information

Fire Rescue District and Emergency Medical Services moved to ImageTrend as a replacement to FireHouse during FY17-18 budget.  ImageTrend has become Fire Rescue’s report management system for fire incident reporting and patient care reporting.

Sarasota County, North Port Fire Rescue’s Dispatching entity, is moving to a new CAD platform.  This change generates an interface change within Fire Rescue’s Report Management System (RMS) ImageTrend, amending the original contract.  This interface switch cost is being passed on to the new CAD vendor RapidDeploy. There is no cost to the City or Fire Rescue.

The RapidDeploy agreement will be forthcoming to the Commission for approval.

The City Attorney has approved the Amendment as to form and content.

Strategic Plan

Maintain the adopted level of health and public safety services.

Financial Impact

There is no financial impact to the City as the $1,500 referenced in the amendment is paid by the new CAD vendor, RapidDeploy.

Procurement

N/A
