Recommended Action
Approve the appointment of JJ Thompson as a Regular Member on the Art Advisory Board to serve a two-year term from April 12, 2022, to April 12, 2024.
Background Information
Currently, there is one vacancy for a Regular Member, two vacancies for Alternate Members, and two vacancies for Student Members on the Art Advisory Board. The City Clerk has received one application from JJ Thompson for the Regular Member vacancy and there have been no other applications submitted. Ms. Thompson has been a resident of North Port for over 12 months, does not serve on any other Board or Committee and there have been no prior voting conflict disclosures on file with the City by said applicant in accordance with FS 112.3143(6). Her application has been provided for review and consideration.
