TITLE:                     Grant Consent to the Acquisition of Real Property by the West Villages Improvement District for Parcel Identification Numbers 0799001003, 0801001100, 0799001000, and 0809001000 Related to the West Villages Parkway Extension

 

 

Recommended Action

 

Grant consent to the acquisition of real property by the West Villages Improvement District for Parcel Identification Numbers 0799001003, 0801001100, 0799001000, and 0809001000 related to the West Villages Parkway Extension.

 

Background Information

 

Prior to acquiring real property for the construction of infrastructure such as roads, stormwater drainage structures and facilities, etc., the West Villages Improvement District (WVID) is required to obtain consent from the North Port City Commission.  The WVID is seeking consent from the City Commission to acquire real property for the West Villages Parkway Extension, continuing south from the existing roadway south of Playmore Road to the proposed Manasota Beach Road extension.
