Recommended Action
Discussion and possible action to select agenda items for discussion with Sarasota County Commission at the next joint meeting.
Background Information
At the joint Commission meeting with Sarasota County Commission on October 2, 2019, North Port City Commission discussed possible topics for discussion at the next joint meeting to be scheduled within six months of the October 2nd meeting.
Topics mentioned for future discussion with Sarasota County Commission included:
• Joint Planning Agreement with Sarasota County
• Disposition of County funds previously
• Parks and Recreation Agreement
• Legacy Trail Update
• Community Reinvestment Program
• CRA
• E911 Funding
Staff is requesting direction as to which items the Commission wishes to be placed on the agenda for the next joint Commission meeting with Sarasota County along with an order of priority.
