Recommended Action

Discussion and possible action.

Background Information

At its Strategic Planning session on December 7 and 8, 2021, the City Commission developed a strategic plan based on six strategic pillars with corresponding priorities.  Subsequently the Commissioners, departmental leadership, and the public were asked to rank the priorities within each pillar in order of importance to help guide staff efforts in implementing the Strategic Plan.

The City Manager is bringing back the plan priorities along with the results of the rankings for discussion with the Commission to fine tune the priority ranking and approve the pillars and priorities.  Staff is developing key indicators for each of the priorities to provide meaningful data to be used in planning, budgeting, and decision making.
