Recommended Action
Approve of Katie Bazan and Kaiden A. Rosa as Student Members of the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board, to serve a one-year term from October 11, 2022, to October 11, 2023.
Background Information
Currently, there are two vacancies for Student Members of the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board. The vacancies were announced as required. The City Clerk has received applications from Katie Bazan and Kaiden A. Rosa and there have no other applications submitted. Ms. Bazan and Mr. Rosa are high school students and have been North Port residents for more than 12 months. Ms. Bazan and Mr. Rosa do not presently serve on any other Boards or Committees. Florida Statutes 112.3143(6) regarding voting conflict disclosures is not applicable for either of these individuals. Their applications have been provided for review and consideration.
