TITLE: Appoint James Scheidel for his Second Term as a Regular Member to the Parks & Recreation Advisory Board to Serve a Two-Year Term from December 8, 2020, to December 8, 2022.
Recommended Action
Appoint James Scheidel for his second term as a Regular Member to the Parks & Recreation Advisory Board to serve a two-year term from December 8, 2020, to December 8, 2022.
Background Information
With the term expiration of Mr. Scheidel on December 11, 2020, there will be two (2) Regular, two (2) Alternate and two (2) Youth Member vacancies on the Parks & Recreation Advisory Board. The vacancies have been announced as required and the City Clerk’s Office has received one (1) application from James Scheidel for his second term. Mr. Scheidel maintains his North Port residency requirements, has been appointed as the Vice Chair to the Board, and while serving his attendance has been excellent, attending all the meetings scheduled in 2020. His application has been provided for review and consideration.
