Recommended Action
Approve the CivicPlus Master Services Agreement and Statement of Work between CivicPlus, LLC and the City of North Port for the Application of External Linking of State Law References within Municode.
Background Information
During the City Commission Joint Meeting with the Planning and Zoning Advisory Board on July 15, 2021, the Commission provided the following direction:
There was consensus to provide definition reference to other source codes as opposed to verbatim in the ULDC for definitions that are directly adopted from the Florida Statutes, Florida Building Code, or other such resources and for Staff to research whether MuniCode has a version that can hyper-link City Code references to the Florida State Statutes.
During the Fiscal Year 2023 budget, the Commission approved Budget Proposal 2134 in the amount of $3,800 for the State Law Reference and Hyperlinking Services for the Code of the City of North Port, Florida, and the Unified Land Development Code.
The CivicPlus Master Services Agreement and Statement of Work between CivicPlus, LLC and the City of North Port for the Application of External Linking of State Law References within Municode has been reviewed by the City Attorney and is legally correct as to form.
