TITLE:                                          Resolution 2020-R-03 Adopting Policy 2020-02 Regarding Issuance of Ceremonial Items

 

 

Recommended Action

 

Approve Resolution No. 2020-R-03 as presented.

 

Background Information

 

During the September 24, 2019 meeting, Commission provided direction for staff to provide a resolution adopting a policy regarding criteria for Keys to the City. Commission also provided direction for staff to provide a resolution adopting a policy regarding proclamations. All ceremonial items have been combined into one Policy. Both Policy and Resolution have been reviewed by legal.

 

During the February 25, 2020 meeting, Commission provided direction for the item to be continued for two months to allow for additional conversation. The attached Revised Exhibit A has be revised to include challenge coin policy.
