Discussion and direction to staff on the development of the City of North Port State and Federal Legislative Priorities for 2024.
Background Information
The City of North Port monitors State and Federal legislation throughout the year to identify funding and other opportunities to ensure that the needs of the community are met. To that end, the City Commission annually reviews and adopts legislative priorities in preparation for the State and Federal Legislative sessions.
Attached for reference are the 2023 Legislative Priorities for Commission consideration and revision as they deem appropriate.
