TITLE: Approve Utilization of Contract No. 2019000319 Between City of Charlotte, North Carolina and Big Truck Rental, LLC for Refuse Truck Rentals and Related Products and Services on an As-Needed Basis in an Amount not to Exceed $200,000 Annually Through the Term Ending October 31, 2027, and Authorize the City Manager to Approve any Modifications, Terminations or Renewals in Concurrence with City of Charlotte, North Carolina.

Option 1: Approve utilization of Contract No. 2019000319 between City of Charlotte, North Carolina and Big Truck Rental, LLC for refuse truck rentals and related products and services on an as-needed basis in an amount not to exceed $200,000 annually through the term ending October 31, 2027, and authorize the City Manager to approve any modifications, terminations or renewals in concurrence with City of Charlotte, North Carolina.

Pros: Allows the City to use an existing competitively procured Contract, reducing the time and administrative resources required to conduct a separate solicitation. The Contract provides access to competitively established pricing and allows the City to obtain refuse truck rentals as needed to maintain continuity of solid-waste collection operations.
