Background Information
The City of North Port procured the services of the Center for Public Safety Management, LLC (CPSM), to perform the Police Operations and Data Report for the North Port Police Department. CPSM conducted a comprehensive analysis of law enforcement services at the North Port Police Department. Jarrod Burguan, Police Project Manager and his team collaborated with the Departments of Human Resources and Finance to collect and evaluate relevant data, documentation, and policies to assess departmental operations. Mr. Burguan also conducted onsite interviews with City personnel to support the review. The comprehensive analysis was designed to provide the City of North Port with a thorough and objective evaluation of emergency services within the community. The final report was submitted to City Manager Jerome Fletcher on February 13, 2026, and Mr. Burguan will present their findings.
