Discussion and possible action regarding the presentation of a Key to the City to Fred Tower III (Posthumously) at the City Commission Regular Meeting on February 2, 2023 requested by Mayor Barbara Langdon.
Background Information
Mr. Tower has been a true servant leader in our community for decades. He served as a North Port City Commissioner; and sat on many advisory committees and non-profit boards. He was an energetic supported of the Chamber of Commerce and a major donor to their building fund. He was also a member of the Board of Trustees of the Englewood Hospital and worked hard to bring a hospital to the city, a dream that is now coming to fruition. He was a mentor to many and a friend to all.
