TITLE:	Discussion and Possible Action Regarding Appointing a Commissioner to Sit on the Florida League of Cities Legislative Policy Committees  and the Legislative Advocacy Committee.
Recommended Action
Approve Florida League of Cities Legislative Policy Committee appointments and Legislative Advocacy Committee Appointment.
Background Information 
Legislative Policy Committee: The Florida Leagues of Cities (FLC) is announcing the start of its Legislative Policy process for Fiscal Year 2023-2024.  The deadline to sign-up is August 14, 2022. The FLC is asking for participation on five Legislative Committees.  No more than one elected official from each City can be on a Committee.   
The Legislative Policy Committees for Fiscal Year 2023-2024 are listed below:   
* Finance, Taxation & Personnel Committee
* Land Use & Economic Development Committee
* Municipal Administration Committee
* Transportation & Intergovernmental Relations Committee
* Utilities, Natural Resources & Public Works Committee
The following provides the dates, times and locations of the three Legislative Policy Committee meetings scheduled in Fiscal Year 2023-2024:
* September 8, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (Rosen Centre Orlando, 9840 International Drive, Orlando, FL 32819)
* October 6, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (TBA Orlando, FL)
* November 30, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. during FLC Legislative Conference (Hilton Orlando, 6001 Destination Parkway, Orlando, FL 32819)
The following City Commissioners are currently serving on the various FLC Committees:
