Approve miscellaneous purchases for Warm Mineral Springs not to exceed $10,000.00
Background Information
With the departure of the previous operator at Warm Mineral Springs (WMS) in 2013 all tangible property was removed; this included the chairs that were made available to the patrons. Following with the City operating the WMS, the City Commission approved, in November of 2014, the purchase of 200 Adirondack style chairs. Since delivery of the chairs, a number of the chairs have been damaged thus reducing the number available. Additionally, recent months have seen attendance increase to 300-400 patrons a day.
Staff is recommending the purchase of an additional 225 chairs, to add to the number available to the patrons as well as replace those that have been damaged. The estimated cost is $4,047.75 and the chairs will be purchased locally.
Also, with the Grab-n-Go food services now being provided, staff recommends adding picnic type tables on the patio area, outside the location of the previous restaurant. Staff has received quotes for decorative hexagon tables, constructed of recycled plastic. Staff recommends placing six (6) tables on the patio at a cost of $4,787.26 (shipping costs included).

Financial Impact
Currently there is funding of $10,000 budgeted for minor operating equipment in the Warm Mineral Springs Special Revenue Fund, which can be used for this purchase.
