TITLE: Discussion and Possible Action Regarding the Parks & Recreation Department’s Details of Service Delivery.
Recommended Action
Provide direction to staff as we continue with the Fiscal Year 2027 budget development process regarding the Parks and Recreation Department’s details of service delivery.
City Commission Options
Staff is seeking direction from Commission and currently does not have specific options to propose for consideration.
Background Information
The Parks & Recreation Department will provide a presentation outlining the Department’s service delivery model in three primary areas: Cost Recovery, Special Events, and Parks. The presentation will demonstrate how the Department maximizes community benefit, supports fiscal sustainability, and contributes to the overall health, safety, and well-being of North Port residents.
The presentation will be added to the agenda item prior to the meeting date.
