• Pros: Approving the Leadership Development and Executive Coaching Agreement and Scope of Work with Contagious Companies will allow the City Attorney and Deputy City Attorney to receive individual executive one-on-one coaching to improve their leadership skills.
• Cons: The Leadership Development and Executive Coaching Agreement and Scope of Work with Contagious Companies will encumber funds that could possibly be utilized elsewhere.
Option 2: Deny the Leadership Development and Executive Coaching Agreement and Scope of Work with Contagious Companies in the total amount of $9,000.00.

• Cons: The City Attorney and Deputy City Attorney will not receive valuable coaching services as outlined in the Agreement.
Background Information
The City Attorney’s Office is looking to provide the City Attorney and Deputy City Attorney with individualized, one-on-one executive coaching.
Under the Agreement, Contagious Companies will provide each leader with a CORE MAP assessment and 12 individual, one-on-one, hour-long sessions that do not expire. Sessions are also transferable, should employment change.
The Leadership Development and Executive Coaching Agreement and Scope of Work has been reviewed by the City Attorney and is legally correct as to form.
The Leadership Development and Executive Coaching Agreement and Scope of Work was submitted to the City Clerk’s Office on June 10, 2026, for signature, subject to City Commission approval.

Funding for executive coaching is budgeted in the City Attorney’s Fiscal Year 2026 budget, in account no. 001-0200-514.31-05.
Procurement
Executive Coaching is exempt pursuant to Chapter 2, Administration, Article VIII. - Procurement, Sec. 2-403. - Exemptions. (a), (3) m. Academic program reviews or lectures by individuals of the Code of the City of North Port, Florida.
