Continue Ordinance 2021-13, amendments to the West Villages Index Map to second reading on March 2, 2021.

General Information
Katie LaBarr, as authorized agent for John Luczynski, Senior Vice President of Manasota Beach Ranchlands, LLLP, submitted a petition to amend the West Villages Index Map. This amendment proposes the following changes:
§ Adjust location of Police/Fire Station Location #2 (PS-2).
§ Adjust the Village Center Boundary at Manasota Beach Road/Preto Boulevard and Manasota Beach Road/West Villages Parkway
§ Update roadway alignment for Manasota Beach Road and West Villages Parkway.
§ Adjustment to the boundary of Villages J, K, and G due to roadway realignments.
§ Revise the Village H park boundary from ±63 acres to ±137acres.
The Planning and Zoning Division staff recommends approval of Ordinance 2021-13. This item will be heard by the Planning & Zoning Advisory Board during their Regular Meeting scheduled on February 18, 2021, which as of the date of this agenda item creation has not yet occurred. Due to time constraints, the outcome of the Planning and Zoning Advisory Board Meeting will be entered into the record at first reading of Ordinance No. 2021-13.
Ordinance No. 2021-13 has been reviewed by the City Attorney and is legally correct as to form.
Added for Second Reading:
Commission heard this item at their regularly scheduled meeting on February 23, 2021. There was discussion on the acreage changes and the amount of nonresidential land uses identified. The Commission voted 4-0 to continue Ordinance 2021-13 to second reading on March 2, 2021.
