General Information

 

Ordinance No. 2024-18 updates references to department names and Unified Land Development Code (ULDC) Chapter references and City department names as amended or created by Ordinance No. 2024-13, to provide consistency with the ULDC. More substantially, this ordinance amends Chapter 2, Article IV., Division 1 - Hearing Officers to align with the removal of the Zoning Board of Appeals from the ULDC and establishment of the Zoning Hearing Officer as the authority (versus the authority when there is no quorum of the Zoning Board of Appeals) to review and approve Major Variances to the ULDC and Appeals to interpretation of the ULDC by the ULDC Administrator.

 

The City Attorney has reviewed Ordinance No. 2024-18 for form and correctness.

City Commission heard the first reading of Ordinance No. 2024-18 at its Regular Meeting on July 23, 2024, and continued the ordinance to second reading on August 6, 2024, as presented.
