General Information
This ordinance amends City Code, Chapter 70 to remove regulations related to permits and inspections that are now included in the Unified Land Development Code as adopted by Ordinance No. 2024-13. The ordinance also adopts a new Article IV. - Canopy Road Designation, which regulations were previously included in Chapter 45 of the ULDC but are more appropriately included in the City Code as these are not land development regulations.
The City Attorney has reviewed Ordinance No. 2024-24 for form and correctness.
Information for Second Reading
The City Commission heard the first reading of Ordinance No. 2024-24 at its Regular Meeting on July 23, 2024, and continued the ordinance as presented to second reading on August 6, 2024.

In accordance with Florida Statutes Section 166.041(4)(a), on July 5,2024, the City timely posted a business impact estimate on the City’s website, before the date the newspaper published notice of this ordinance’s final reading.
