During the City Commission Regular Meeting on July 27, 2021, Commission directed the City Manager to have staff begin the procurement process to secure contractor(s) to clear the existing 243 cases for removal of impinging growth that were pending in the queue.  A deadline was established to complete the backlog in Fiscal Year 2022 and funding in the amount of $325,000 was allocated in Fiscal Year 2022 Budget.

The Bid opening was held on November 4, 2021. Three (3) bids were received from GB Trees and LandClearing, LLC, Greentopps Landscape, Maintenance, & Tree Services, LLC, and R.A.
