On November 21, 2022, Governor DeSantis issued Executive Order Number 22-268, renewing the state of emergency for an additional sixty (60) days. On March 17, 2023, Governor DeSantis issued Executive Order 23-60, renewing the state of emergency for an additional 60 days.  Subsequently, Governor DeSantis Issued Order 23-104 on May 15, 2023, and Order 23-139 on July 13, 2023, extending the state of emergency for another 60 days each.

On September 26, 2022, the City Commission adopted Ordinance No. 2022-30, declaring a local state of emergency and granting emergency authority to the City Manager. In his emergency authority, the City Manager entered into the following purchase order and attachments, which constitute a legal Contract. The City Manager requests that the City Commission ratify this Purchase Order approval.

Purchase Order No. 049821 and Contract attachments with Wharton-Smith, Inc. for site work to support temporary buildings in the amount of $75,208.93.
