Recommended Action
Approve Construction Manager at Risk Preconstruction Services Contract No. 2024-16.002, Phase I, with AJAX Building Company, LLC, in the amount of $83,479.00, for design support, coordination, project scheduling, design and equipment evaluation and recommendations, and a guaranteed maximum price for Project F24EOC, Emergency Operations Center.
Background Information
In fiscal year 2024, Commission approved the capital improvement project and subsequent funding for the new Emergency Operations Center to be constructed adjacent to Fire Station 81. The City issued a request for proposals (RFP) and AJAX Building Company, LLC was the selected construction manager under RFP 2024-16.
Phase I, Preconstruction Services, will include design support, coordination, project scheduling, design and equipment evaluation and recommendations, project scheduling and costs, and development of the guaranteed maximum price (GMP).
This contract was reviewed and approved by the City Attorney’s Office
