TITLE:                     Approve the First Amendment to Visionary Integration Professionals Acceptance Agreement for Maintenance and Operations Support Between the City of North Port, Florida, and Visionary Integration Professionals, LLC, in the Amount of $399,090, Plus Contingency in the Amount of $39,909, for a Total Project Cost of $438,999.

 

 

Recommended Action

 

Approve the First Amendment to Visionary Integration Professionals Acceptance Agreement for Maintenance and Operations Support between the City of North Port, Florida, and Visionary Integration Professionals, LLC, in the amount of $399,090, plus contingency in the amount of $39,909, for a total project cost of $438,999.

 

Background Information

 

During the City Commission Regular Meeting held on April 25, 2023, the Commission approved the  Visionary Integration Professionals Acceptance Agreement, VIP Land Management Statement of Work (SOW), and the Accela Subscription Services and Support Agreement under General Services Administration (GSA) Contract No. 47QSWA18D008F. This approval enabled the Building Division to move forward with VIP for the implementation of Accela, which went live on December 9, 2024.

 

The original SOW is now complete.  Staff is requesting Commission approval of the First Amendment to Visionary Integration Professionals Acceptance Agreement for Maintenance and Operations Support between the City of North Port, Florida, and Visionary Integration Professionals, LLC.  These services would include any additional configuration, automation, reports, training, Geographical Information Systems (GIS) services, updates, and bug fixes for Accela in the Building Division of the Department of Development Services.

 

The First Amendment to Visionary Integration Professionals Acceptance Agreement for Maintenance and Operations Support between the City of North Port, Florida, and Visionary Integration Professionals, LLC,

has been reviewed by the Interim City Attorney and is legally correct as to form.

Financial Impact

 

The funding source will come from CIP Project BD22OP - Account Number 135-2700-524-68-00. Total cost of the Maintenance and Operations Contract $399,090, plus contingency in the amount of $39,909  for a total cost of CIP Project BD22OP - $438,999.

 

Procurement

 

Procurement will be made in accordance with section 2-403 (a) (4) of the City of North Port Procurement Code for exempt purchase through Carahsoft on the General Services Administration (GSA) Contract No. 47QSWA18D008F.
