During this public hearing, a question was raised as to the party responsible for the signalization of White Ibis Drive and Sumter Blvd. According to Condition 5a of Ordinance No. 2011-33, the Development Order for Heron Creek, a Development of Regional Impact, “The applicant or his successor or assigns shall be fully responsible for the site related roadway and intersection improvements required within Heron Creek DRI.” Thus, if the signalization of White Ibis Drive and Sumter Blvd were to be determined to be necessary during the review of site development, the applicant(s) would be responsible for the improvement.
