Recommended Action

 

The City Commission approve DMP-22-118, North Port 0010 Development Master Plan.

 

General Information

 

Jay E. Jesensky, on behalf of CA Five LLC., has submitted a Development Master Plan application to develop 269 residential units on 26.9 acres and two (2), 13,200 square feet mixed-use buildings, a clubhouse, and amenities on approximately 4.38 acres. The site is zoned Planned Community Development (“PCD”) with an Activity Center Future Land Use designation (Activity Center 5).

 

One four (4) story apartment building with sixty-three (63) units is proposed along with a total of forty-one (41) townhome structures containing two (2), four (4), or six (6) units each, totaling 206 units. The residential units will be served by various amenities including the following:

 

Ø                     Clubhouse, which may contain a co-working space.

Ø                     Playground

Ø                     Pool

Ø                     Sports courts

Ø                     Dog park

Ø                     Two (2), 13,200 square feet of mixed-use buildings that will have non-residential uses such as offices or commercial uses.

 

The development includes the construction of a portion of Citizens Parkway SE and the associated utilities and stormwater system.

 

During the Planning and Zoning Advisory Board Regular Meeting held on March 16, 2023, the Planning and Zoning Advisory Board voted 7-0 unanimously recommending City Commission approval of DMP-22-118, North Port 0010 Development Master Plan.
