Approve First Amendment to Insight Platform Terms of Service for Schedule A: Professional and Managed Services in the Amount of $78,424.33.
Background Information
The City of North Port’s Information Technology Division is renewing its Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tool and adding additional services to include monitoring. The following are the capabilities of the SIEM tool:
Ø Security center for incident detection and response, authentication monitoring, and endpoint visibility.
Ø Identifies unauthorized access from external and internal threats and highlights suspicious activity through thousands of data streams.
Ø Provides monthly comprehensive detail reports about discovered assets, vulnerabilities, users, and includes a risk scoreboard.
Ø Provides metrics and context about threat detection and incident response activities conducted in the previous month, along with the health of detection and response controls in our environment.
Ø Extends security operations by providing customized security guidance and hands-on 24x7x365 monitoring, threat hunting, and incident response.
The First Amendment to Insight Platform Terms of Service for Schedule A: Professional and Managed Services has been reviewed by the City attorney and is legally correct as to form.

Financial Impact
The subscription cost for these services is $78,424.33 for the first year and this cost has been included in the approved City Manager, Information Technology Division Budget for Fiscal Year 2023-2024, Account number 001-0710-516-5400. The renewal costs for Year Two, Fiscal Year 2024-2025 and Year Three, Fiscal Year 2025-2026 will be $83,087.50 per year.

Procurement is being made in accordance with the Administrative Procurement Thresholds set forth in the Purchasing Procedures Manual.
