Recommended Action
Approve Master Services Agreement and Appendix A Between Sentinel Technologies, Inc. and the City of North Port to Undergo an Internal and External Penetration Test in the Amount of $26,326.20.
Background Information
The City of North Port’s Information Technology Division has engaged Sentinel Technologies, Inc. to provide an external and internal penetration test of the current security infrastructure and provide recommendations that are based on a tactical approach. Sentinel will perform information gathering through device and user enumeration with a mix of automated and manual tools, simulating the methods of an attacker. Sentinel will review the items within the scope of work with the City to ensure agreement and any additional information, comments, or concerns about the environment. Results of the testing will be shared in a documented deliverable and executive summary. The deliverable will include recommendations on remediating identified findings and creating a holistic security approach.
The Master Services Agreement and Appendix A between Sentinel Technologies, Inc. and the City of North Port have been reviewed by the City Attorney and is legally correct as to form.
