Recommended Action

 

A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of North Port, Florida as the Governing Body of the Road and Drainage District, Establishing Not-to-Exceed Non-Ad Valorem Assessment Rates for the North Port Road and Drainage District for Fiscal Year 2022-2023; Incorporating Recitals; Providing for Conflicts; Providing for Severability; and Providing an Effective Date.

 

Background Information

 

The Fiscal Year 2022-2023 proposed budget for the North Port Road and Drainage District proposes a 3% increase to the current Non-Ad Valorem Assessment rates. The City of North Port will provide this information to citizens through the Sarasota County TRIM (Truth in Millage) Notice and Notice of Proposed Taxes.
